What each role can do, and who holds the bulk roles. Sections collapse so the page stays short as assignments grow.

Administrative roles · assigned to people
Creator
Project owner with full rights, and the only role that can transfer ownership. Unique — passing it on demotes the Creator to Super Admin.
Super Admin
Full project admin rights, and can manage user access for everyone except the Creator.
Treasurer
Full project admin rights plus funding permissions, including withdrawals.
Admin
Full project admin rights, but can't manage users.
Maintainer
Can edit tokens, assets, and generators — set everything up, but can't set anything Live.
Bulk roles · assigned to a whitelist or individual
Trusted
Can use live generators and pin assets for review — e.g. fans you let create tokens with one of your generators.
Reviewer
Read-only access to unreleased collections, tokens, and assets — e.g. a press sneak peek. View-only; it does not grant approval permissions.

Access — no members yet

Bring your team in.

Permissions decide who can do what in this project. Add a collaborator by principal and pick a role — they'll inherit access to everything inside the project.

Two groups of roles

Administrative & bulk roles.

Administrative roles are assigned to people. Creator is the unique project owner with full rights and the only one who can transfer ownership. Super Admin manages access; Treasurer adds funding and withdrawals; Admin has full admin rights but can't manage users; Maintainer builds tokens, assets, and generators.

Bulk roles attach to a whitelist, not individuals. Trusted can use live generators and pin assets for review; Reviewer gets a read-only preview of unreleased work. Roles are fixed for now and apply to the whole project.

Creator is unique

Full project rights and the only role that can transfer ownership — handing it over demotes you to Super Admin. Not assignable through the normal add-member flow.

Admin & above go Live

Admin, Treasurer, Super Admin, and the Creator can set tokens, collections, and vendors Live. Maintainers build, but can't take it Live.

Bulk roles for groups

Trusted and Reviewer attach to a whitelist — let fans use a generator, or give a group a read-only preview before launch.

Members are added by principal — they get access immediately, no email invite.
Trusted and Reviewer are bulk roles — assign them to a whitelist, not to an individual. Only the Creator can hand off the Creator role.

Assign a bulk role

A whitelist grants the role to everyone on the list; Individual grants it to a single principal.
Everyone on the list gets the role across the project. (Switch to Individual to enter a single principal instead.)
05Transfer ownership · Creator onlyHands the Creator role to a member or a new principal; the current Creator is demoted to Super Admin.

Transfer ownership

Hand the Creator role to someone else. They get full project rights, including the ability to transfer ownership again — and you'll be demoted to Super Admin. Only the Creator can do this.

Enter a principal to add and promote them straight to Creator.

You're about to remove "Kai Nguyen" from the project. They'll lose access immediately. You can add them back later by principal.

Remove the Reviewer role from Newsletter alpha? Everyone on that whitelist loses Reviewer access. The whitelist itself stays.
